Settled at the rear of the property you'll find a shared, south-facing yard, separated by a small privacy screen, where you can soak in the last of the evening sunshine with your favourite tipple in hand before bed. Climbing the stairs to the first floor, the freestanding bath provides an indulgent soak after climbing Roseberry Topping, exploring the Cleveland Hills or the stunning coast, and the sumptuous king-size bed is ideal for catching up on your rest ahead of another day of adventure. Guisborough is often described as the gateway to the North York Moors and this ancient market town, listed in the Domesday Book, is steeped in history, with Gisborough Priory dating back to the 12th century, the area is rich in history and heritage with an abundance of castles, abbeys, historic houses and museums. The North York Moors offer lots of choices from a countryside picnic, a hike on the moors, a trip to the beach or following in the footsteps of Harry Potter on the North York Moors Steam Railway. The delights of the Yorkshire coast are a short drive away with Saltburn, Whitby, Runswick Bay and Staithes a must-see. The drive to Helmsley via Rievaulx Abbey is highly recommended and this delightful market town has boutiques, delis, cafés and superb dining at a choice of hotels and pubs.
