Whitton View is a charming stone-built cottage sitting at the roadside within the welcoming village of Milfield. Even though there isn’t a garden, there is a good pub The Red Lion, an old coaching Inn serving good food and real ales which dates from the 18th Century, a local shop and quaint country café which is a tourist information point for the Northumberland National Park and information point for Maelim Henge. All within a gentle stroll. Exhilarating horse riding can be arranged at Kimmerston riding stables 2 miles away. Gliding lessons can be arranged at the Milfield Gliding Club. Fishing permits are available for fishing on the Till.

I loved my stay at Whitton View, peaceful and very relaxing. Everything was in the cottage for a comfortable stay, kitchen well equipped and very little traffic noise from the road outside.If you like walking in the Cheviots, the cottage is around 20 minutes away, Coast, 25 minutes depending on where you are going.A good place to recharge your batteries and get away from a really busy life. The Red Lion has some great food too and good guest beers, so deserves a mention here too.The cafe on the opposite side of the road has a few supplies too and handy for coffee or a meal.No hesitation in recommending Whitton View.

Great little cottage. There's a lovely pub 2 doors along with very friendly and helpful staff, the food here was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay here and visited many local areas during our time at the cottage. We had a lovely welcome pack of goodies on arrival and the cottage had everything we needed and more! Very cosy and homely feeling.
