No smoking.. Captain Jack’s nestles within the idyllic Smuggler’s Cove development in the heart of the coastal village of Beadnell in Northumberland. With a fabulous sandy bay, Beadnell is well known as one of the best equipped places in Northumberland for watersports, with the beach lending itself well to surfing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, sailing and scuba diving.
Just a stone’s throw away are welcoming pubs and cafés. There are two popular pubs within a few minutes’ walk too, with regular live music and themed food nights. For groceries, you will find a well-stocked convenience store situated on Harbour Road which offers everything from newspapers to fresh bread, you can find all the essentials here. For larger shops, Seahouses is a 4-minute drive, and Alnwick is 24 minutes with major supermarkets.
Out and about, there are a variety of beautiful coastal walks and cycle trails up through Seahouses and Bamburgh, and down towards Newton-by-the-Sea, Embleton and Craster. Inland, visit the historic market town of Alnwick with its magnificent castle and gardens, independent shops and a selection of excellent pubs and eateries. A little further afield you can enjoy breath-taking views of the Cheviots in the Northumberland National Park. There is so much to do in and around Beadnell, you will want to return to Captain Jack’s time and time again! Beach 500 yards.

Captain Jack's was really comfortable and clean. Everything we could possibly need was provided and the off road parking was a definite bonus.The welcome pack was a lovely touch.Excellent location to explore Beadnell and the surrounding areas.Good communications from Sarah and Jack.We would happily recommend to others and would return again.

Photos probably dont do it justice. Peaceful place which was excellent with a two year old. Literally the only thing we would have needed to bring was his cup. The travel cot and high chair was excellent and there was a great selection of kids plates. They even had a baby bath.
