Warkworth Castle is a pleasant walk and open all year round and awash with daffodils in the spring, making a striking picture on entering the village.  The sandy beach is less than a mile and stretches for 3 miles northwards to Alnmouth a pretty picture postcard village with a glorious beach.  Boat trips are available from nearby Amble for sea fishing and to view the seabirds on Coquet Island.  A few minutes&rs. . .
