Just a minute or so walk away is the village of Warkworth with its ruins of a 12th century castle, Georgian and early Victorian houses, antique shops, restaurants, pubs and a nine hole golf course. The small town of Amble is within easy reach and has further amenities, along with a marina and harbour. Also in the area are Alnwick with its castle and gardens, Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island and Hadrian’s Wall. A welcoming holiday home with something for everyone in the area.

The pretty village of Warkworth is situated on the loop of the River Coquet, near Amble. The village has the ruins of a 12th century castle, Georgian and early Victorian houses, a range of galleries, antiques shops, a village shop/Post Office, pubs, restaurants and gift shops.
