With contemporary interior throughout and boasting an open-plan living space, Plot 18 Meadow View is a fabulous escape for families or groups of friends wishing to enjoy a peaceful getaway in Northumberland. Curl up on the inviting plush sofa and catch up on your favourite shows on the Smart TV in the warmth of the electric fire, as your other half rustles up a delicious feast in the well-equipped kitchen. Relish mealtimes as a family at the dining table, or step outside onto your very own private terrace and enjoy alfresco as the sun sets in your backdrop; with the added luxury of a bubbling hot tub, you’ll be guaranteed to feel relaxed and revitalised. As the night grows darker, retreat to either a double bedroom hosting an en-suite shower room, or a charming twin, both housing plenty of storage for your holiday wardrobe. The local town of Morpeth has an abundance of high-street shops, independent boutiques, and a weekly market so you can stock up on all the essentials. Animal enthusiasts will appreciate the chance to see an abundance of wildlife at Northumberland Zoo, including snow leopards, lemurs, and birds of prey, or for a more educational past time, visit Morpeth Chantry or the National Trust owned Cragside, created by the remarkable inventor Lord William and his wife. Well-positioned to traverse the wonders of Northumberland National Park, embark on a hike up Billberry Hill or Shaftoe Crags for stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Spend the day strolling through Amble Harbour Village, a vibrant destination boasting plenty to do including Puffin Cruises, fishing, swimming, or even touring the estuary by kayak and canoe. For a splendid break where you can bask in the charm of Northumberland, stay at Plot 18 Meadow View.

Placed in rural Northumberland between Morpeth and Alnwick, Felton is a must-visit. Alnwick, home of the largest cascading water feature in Europe as well as an immense tree house, a rose garden, and an attractive walled garden, is only ten miles from the village, which has its own shop with a post office, coffee shop, tavern, and restaurant. The castle is also well-known for its role as Hogwarts in the "Harry Potter" movie. There is lots to see and do in the area around Alnwick, including miles of golden sand beaches, dozens of castles, and boat journeys to the world-famous Farne Islands. As a whole, it's a great base from which to discover Northumberland and its breathtaking Heritage Coast.

Me and my partner were very pleased with our stay and would love to stay again.

Lovely lodge, banners, balloons, couple bottles of fizz, chocolates and a lovely card from Claire & Tony there on arrival. Lodge Is exactly as described. Fabulous hot tub at back of lodge with fairy lights which is lovely to sit and watch the stars. Position on the park in my opinion is the best, due to being so quiet and private with unbroken views. Already tried to immediately rebook for New Year but unavailable as already booked, but we will most definitely be back. Thank you. Xx

This location is perfect for stargazing. I wouldn't recommend utilising public transport to get here due to the inconsistent bus schedules and the stop being quite far up the road with no obvious path to use. I will definitely aim to return here in future.
