We did enjoy our location, the cottage was fine let down a little by a cramped kitchen and the pans would benefit by replacement, the furniture was a little dated and and uncomfortable otherwise I would have given it 5stars

Rothbury is a delightful village with interesting selection of shops. Being able to park right outside the cottage is handy just in case it is raining!! The wood burning stove would be delightful but I wasnt brave enough to light it!! For me an easy electric one with very similar result would be preferable as they are so realistic. Otherwise its.delightful.
