After a day of exploring, soothe tired muscles with a soak in the bath, or freshen up under the overhead shower. When sleep calls, choose from two beautifully appointed bedrooms, a double with en-suite cloakroom and two single beds, both with plenty of storage for your belongings and with complimentary robes and slippers provided, so you can relax in style! Explore your surroundings, where you can utilise the on-site facilities which include tennis courts, a children’s adventure playground, access to the woods where you can enjoy wildlife rich walks spotting the deer, squirrels and birds which frequent the surroundings, an excellent 18-hole golf course, a shop and a reception area for any queries. Catering vans can frequently be found at the entrance of the park also, as well as the welcoming Bari Bar which offers weekend entertainment and the Nelson’s at the Park Café, both perfect for when you fancy a break from the kitchen! Nearby is Felton, where you can stock up on essentials at The Hillrises Stores or treat your loved ones to a tasty meal at The Northumberland Arms or a light bite at The Running Fox, both of which enjoy an idyllic riverside location along the River Coquet. On the outskirts of the village and promising a fun-filled day out is the Northumberland Country Zoo, where you can see the likes of snow leopards, lemurs and meerkats. Continue on to the bustling town of Alnwick, famous for its castle which featured in the Harry Potter film series, which frequently hosts events and boasts a vast garden which includes the welcoming Treehouse Restaurant. Within the town, you will also find the attractions of the Fusiliers Museum of Northumberland, The Alnwick Playhouse and the Bailiffgate Museum. Keen walkers and cyclists can venture into the stunning Northumberland National Park where they can experience exceptional views atop the Simonside Hills, wander the famous Hadrian’s Wall, or soak up the exceptional surroundings of Kielder Forest and the Cheviot Hills. Amble is just a short drive away for an abundance of attractions and amenities; stroll through the picturesque harbour village and savour local seafood, stop off at The Boat Shed Gallery to admire local art or head to the sandy beach for a day of sun bathing and paddling. Bamburgh is an excellent location to vacation as it boasts many popular tourist spots, including Bamburgh Castle, a Grade II listed building. Add a touch of style to your Northumberland getaway with a stay at Boutique Lodge

Felton, a Northumberland village located between Morpeth and Alnwick, is a charming place to visit. Nearby Alnwick, with its castle and now-famous garden (which includes Europe's largest cascading water feature, an enormous tree house, a rose garden, and an ornamental walled garden), the village has a shop with a post office, a coffee shop, and a pub and restaurant. Another reason it's famous is because it's where "Harry Potter" movies' Hogwarts School was filmed.

Shopping, dining, and attractions abound in Alnwick; the town's golden sand beaches, castles, and the Farne Islands are all close by, as are boat trips to the fabled Farne Islands. All in all, it's a great place to visit Northumberland and its beautiful Heritage Coast.

No links, no telephone nothing. One was the hot tub which was the main reason I booked the lodge. It took until the Sunday evening to get this fixed it didn't get over 34 which was so disappointing. Also the tv couldn't work either . We tried to get this working but once again after Day 1 it wouldn't seem to connect properly. If you had had a contact I am sure these could have got easily sorted. A lovely maintenance lady eventually sorted the hot tub. If she had been there initially I think it would have been sorted straight away. Lodge is in great position with a great pub a mile away. Tried to not let the hot tub spoil things and still had a great time .

The blinds were very dusty and the one in the living room was stuck solid. There was a large amount of dust and small pieces of debris underneath all 3 beds. There was also a red stain on the mattress cover on one of the single beds (that had the appearance of dried blood). The oven was dirty and there were pieces of burnt food hanging from the grill area. The flush in the toilet was also faulty. We have stayed in many Sykes cottages over the last few years and this is the first time I have felt the need to comment on the poor quality of cleanliness. Having said all that, we loved the hot tub, the location of the lodge, the golf course, and the on site bar.
