Guests have consistently praised 4 The Oaks for its spotless condition, well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable furnishings. The thoughtful touches, such as a welcome hamper, have been well received, although they are subject to change and not guaranteed.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviewers unanimously mention the exceptional cleanliness of the lodge, noting it as spotless and fresh-smelling, which indicates a very high standard of hygiene maintained at the property.

The location is frequently highlighted as great for exploring local attractions and the convenience of being close to the A1. The peacefulness of the site is also appreciated, suggesting a prime location for a relaxing holiday.

Comfort is a recurring theme, with guests finding the lodge cosy and well-maintained. The presence of a well-stocked kitchen and cosy furnishings contribute to a comfortable stay, although a minor suggestion for a bedside cabinet indicates room for improvement.

Facilities are generally praised, especially the large TV and Netflix, as well as the free use of the on-site golf course. However, a couple of minor points regarding curtains and a runner for the hall suggest that while facilities are excellent, there is some room for maintenance improvements.

The thoughtfulness of the owners is evident through mentions of welcome packs and the provision of information for local activities. While these gestures are highly appreciated by guests, it is important to note that such offerings may vary and are not guaranteed.

Lodge was lovely & very clean with everything you need & lots of little extras provided. Owners left a nice touch with a welcome pack & a file with useful information in. (Our Grandson loved the biscuits!) Ideal location for visiting Alnwick castle. The Grandchildren enjoyed the playpark & tennis. Would definitely stay here again & have already recommended it to friends & family. Thank you

It was comfortable, welcoming and everything we needed had been thought about. Claire was very approachable and at the end of the phone if we had any questions. Percy Woods site was quiet even in July when we went, lovely woodland walks for the dog and everyone was friendly. It was the perfect location for exploring the coast and castles. We loved everything about the holiday and will be returning.

Every room smelled fresh and clean upon arrival. The bedding smelled lovely and clean throughout our stay. The welcome pack was great, even including dog treats for our dog. We enjoyed a very peaceful holiday, very quiet at night and no noise. We had a comfortable and peaceful stay and enjoyed sitting in the outside decking which was ideal for our dog as it was an enclosed area.
