This beautifully-presented end of terrace cottage is in the village of Longframlington close to both Morpeth and Alnwick. Edendale provides the perfect base for exploring the wonderful county of Northumberland, where family or friends can stay in comfort. Upon entering you are welcomed by a cosy, character filled sitting room with original inglenook and woodburning stove, an ideal place to curl up with a good book or catching a movie after a day out exploring. The sitting room leads you up two steps through to a light and welcoming, well-equipped kitchen with dining area. The cottage stairs take you to three tastefully decorated bedrooms with the master overlooking the front of the property, two smaller bedrooms and a bathroom. From the dining area you can gain access to an enclosed rear patio, which offers a lovely space to enjoy some fresh air with a cuppa whilst planning your days activities. Longframlington is a lovely, friendly village with an award-winning grocery store, a first rate butchers shop and an excellent pub/restaurant. Brinkburn Priory is nearby with its peaceful riverside setting. The National Trust's Cragside House and the historic market town of Alnwick with its imposing castle and gardens are a short distance away. The stunning Heritage Coast with its historic castles and endless beaches are under half an hours drive away as are the breathtaking Cheviot Hills. Wherever you go, youll be spoilt for choice. This is a perfect cottage in an excellent location for discovering the delights of this lovely region at any time of the year.
The village of Longframlington sits at the heart of rural Northumberland, between the Cheviots. Just 10 minutes drive to the west is the National Trusts Cragside House and Gardens, whilst the Heritage Coast is just a 15-minute drive to the east, offering miles of clean sandy beaches. The historic town of Alnwick, with its impressive Castle and Garden, lies just 11 miles to the north and is well worth a visit.

The owner had left a lovely welcome pack, which was very much appreciated. The beds were comfortable with crisp, clean linen. Clean towels were also provided. The 3/4 for maintenance and cleanliness, related to a constantly dripping kitchen tap and windows that needing cleaning, as did the glass canopy in the back courtyard. Sadly, the âkerb appealâ was lacking as the front entrance needed sweeping and cleaning. We appreciated the property was on a main road, but itâs these details that are relevant we feel. Having said the above, we would certainly rebook the accommodation should we ever visit the area again. It was very convenient for travelling to tourist attractions, and the village had all one needed, i.e butchers, convenience store, bakery and two pubs; both of which served food. S&D

Thank you so much to the owner for making it an excellent place to stay in the village. Near the road but windows are effective and it was very peaceful. Lots to do in the area and stunning places to visit.
