The cottage is beautifully furnished throughout with a spacious sitting room complete with wood burning stove for the cooler evenings and a well equipped kitchen and separate snug area. Upstairs the three bedrooms are very pretty with iron bedsteads and stylish curtains and throws on the beds. Outside there’s a lovely rear patio with garden table and chairs and a stone outbuilding for storing your bikes. No. 2 Church Row has Four Star and Gold Award from Visit England, a great option of six guests looking to explore this beautifully area of Northumberland.
Nearby Beadnell is just three miles away, a picturesque village with a couple of pubs, two cafes and a village shop so everything you need is on hand. This is a popular spot for watersports with surfing, waterskiing, windsurfing, diving and snorkelling all available locally. If you can tear yourself away from this amazing location it’s worth getting out and about and exploring a little further afield - Northumberland has more castles than any other county in the UK so there’s no excuse!

A lovely cottage situated in beautiful Northumberland countryside. Very peaceful. Easy to access local towns by car. Comfortable beds, good shower and 2 toilets helped to meet the needs of a family of 6. Good kitchen facilities. Recommended trips in easy reach of the cottage: Bamburgh, Seahouses and the Farne Islands, Holy Island and Linsdisfarne, Craster and Dunstanburgh Castle, Embleton Bay, Cragside and Alnwick Castle. We love Northumberland. We’d happily stay in this cottage again on future visits.

My friend and I rented this beautiful cottage for the second time for some well deserved rest and relaxation. House was spotless, beds super comfy, warm, log burning stove, birds chirping in the morning, what more could you want! Great location for a bit of wild swimming and fabulous fish and chips in Seahouses. We’ll be back for a third visit when we can.
