Top Croft offers a cosy and well-equipped base in a fantastic location, just moments from the beach and close to local amenities. Guests frequently praise its cleanliness, comfort, and suitability for families and dog owners. The property is bright and welcoming, with thoughtful touches from the owner. While some mention minor maintenance issues and occasional dampness, the overall experience is positive, with many guests keen to return. The flat is ideal for exploring the Northumberland coast and provides excellent value for a relaxing break.
Most guests found the property clean and tidy, with fresh linen and towels. However, a few reviews noted issues such as mould in some rooms and occasional dirty kitchenware, which slightly lowered the score.
The location is highly praised, being less than a minute from the beach and close to shops, pubs, and scenic attractions. Guests consistently highlight the convenience and beauty of the area.
The flat is described as cosy and comfortable, with good beds and a homely feel. Some guests found the seating and dining area a bit cramped for four people, and a few mentioned difficulty warming up the property in colder months.
The property is well equipped with kitchen appliances, games, and storage. Some maintenance issues were noted, such as broken tiles, doors needing adjustment, and minor updates required, but these did not significantly impact most stays.
Several guests appreciated thoughtful touches such as milk, biscuits, and tea/coffee provided on arrival, as well as prompt communication from the owner. Please note that these gestures are not guaranteed for every stay.

A clean apartment in a great location if you want to spend a long weekend exploring the wonderful beaches of the North East. All clean and everything worked. No frills but exactly as advertised. The weather was exceptional so we were out most of the time. I've tried to think of some negatives for 'balance' but I can't really. It was just the right mix of clean comfort at a reasonable price. I would recommend it to friends heading that way.
