We had a lovely time time at Swale Cottage, it’s just a shame the emphasis seems to be on leaving the cottage clean rather than enjoying our holiday

The cottage was clean, well presented and well maintained.

A couple of things would have improved our visit. The night storage heaters were off when we arrived in the early evening and so didn't give out any heat until the next day - it would be nice for the place to be warm for guests to arrive. The other slight issue is probably impossible for the owners to control...the noise coming from both neighbours houses! The walls must be very thin I think? We heard whole conversations, tv programmes, a dog barking and a child crying, but most annoying was the neighbour to the right if you face the building from the street, who moved furniture around and hoovered every morning at 7am!!!! But these were only minor annoyances even so - the house is comfortable, well-equipped, clean and brilliantly located!
