The Sea Breeze cottage sits amongst similar properties situated in a cul-de-sac within the picturesque coastal village of Beadnell. Sea Breeze is only 200 yards from the glorious golden sandy beach of Beadnell Bay. This is a popular destination for water-sports enthusiasts and activities include sailing, kite surfing, sea kayaking and scuba diving. The welcoming village of Beadnell offers local facilities with two family friendly pubs serving good food and a local village shop all less than a mile from Sea Breeze. Two miles up the coastline is the traditional fishing port of Seahouses, where boat trips to the nearby Farne Islands can be taken. A further 3 miles up the coastline is the picturesque village of Bamburgh, which lies snuggled in the shadow of its majestic fortress and commands the power and presence of the seasoned television set it regularly becomes. Holy Island – the birthplace of Christianity and site of Lindisfarne Castle – can be seen from the unspoilt golden, sandy beach. Just a few miles inland is the bustling market town of Alnwick, with its own dramatic castle (film location for Harry Potter’s Hogwarts Academy!). Visitors will enjoy a trip to Alnwick Garden – a spectacular interpretation of a formal garden including the Grand Cascade waterfall. I booked this wondering if I would spend my time freezing cold and dodging rain but I was fortunate to have sunshine and warm spring weather. Saying that because of the comfortable house, warm and cozy, I don't think I would have minded staying in! I loved that treats were left for my dog and she loved the walks along Beadnell beach - along with the beaches at Bamburgh, Newton Links and Alnmouth. Fantastic area that I return to and fantastic house that is on my list to come back to. The house had all we needed and was very comfortable.

We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back! The house had everything we needed and was so comfortable.Great location, only 5mins from the beach.The weather was wild, but it was the middle of winter when we visited. It was lovely coming back to a nice warm house.

Beadnell is a quiet seaside village that is even quieter at this time of year making Sea Breeze a great place to return to after long beach walks with the dog. The house is a small new build close to the harbour making access easy with Seahouses as a larger centre within a 5 minute drive to enable you to find food shopping as well as good eateries.The house is well prepared for canine visitors and their human serving staff also have access to a comfortable set up and all the equipment necessary to enjoy the stay. Quality of linens, comfy beds and seating with wifi available should it be needed ensured the stay was first class. No-one can control the weather but that didn't matter as the set up works well.
