This end-terrace cottage is lovingly presented throughout with the living room and kitchen/dining room on the ground floor. Both bedrooms are on the first floor along with a fresh family bathroom. To the rear of the property is a fully enclosed decked area, which makes a lovely spot to dine al fresco.
Sandy Toes is only 300 yards from the wide expanse of golden sandy beach of Beadnell Bay. This is a popular destination for water sports enthusiasts, including sailing, kite surfing, sea kayaking and scuba diving. Beadnell is renowned as a holiday destination and offers local facilities including a village shop and pub serving good food. Just 2 miles up the coastline is the traditional fishing port of Seahouses, where boat trips, depart regularly from its harbour, to the nearby Farne Islands, famous for its bird sanctuaries and seal colony. Here there are also several charming tea rooms, quaint pubs and shops. Horse riding, fishing and golf on the links close, by being only a sample of the many amenities available in this popular location. A further 3 miles up the coastline is the picture-perfect village of Bamburgh, famous for its majestic fortress and Grace Darling Museum. The market town of Alnwick, with its own dramatic castle, is only a short drive inland. Lovely little house but it's tired.It needs a lick of paint.The kitchen table and chairs are tatty.The scissors were broken and put back in the knife block.The sofa and bed were really comfy.The extractor fan in the upstairs bathroom was not working.The bottom of the shower screen has black mould on it and so did the bath handles which I cleaned off.It's in a good little action but I just think it needs some TLC.
