Alnwick town, the location for the Harry Potter films, and the magnificent ornamental gardens, 8 miles. Superb walking in the Cheviot Hills, ½ hour drive. A 10 minute walk to the shop and two pubs. Due to unforeseen circumstances this was a last minute booking for which we were extremely grateful. Sandpiper is well situated in Beadnell. It is cosy and comfortable with everything you can possibly need. We only had to contact the owner with one small query and it was answered immediately. We would have no hesitation in recommending Sandpiper and would definitely stay again.
