This modern semi-detached holiday bungalow, suitable for the partially disabled and with board games to keep children amused, is ideally situated to sample the Heritage coastline. Boat trips to the Farne Islands from Seahouses. Historic Bamburgh and Dunstanburgh Castles are close by. Alnwick town, the location for the Harry Potter films, and the magnificent ornamental gardens, 8 miles. Superb walking in the Cheviot Hills, ½ hour drive. A 10 minute walk to the shop and two pubs. Less than two minutes to the beach and The Landing beach bar & cafe/restaurant..

The Sandpiper is the perfect holiday cottage for us with two dogs, with its enclosed garden and its proximity to the beach. It has everything you need for a great stay. Sandpiper is a firm favourite of ours, having been many times before and have booked again for next year.

We’ve holidayed in Beadnell regularly over 17 years so know the area very well. Sandpiper was chosen due to location and availability. Bungalow currently being renovated to a 3 bedroom property so garage now disappeared. We were pleasantly surprised. It is better than the pictures advertised and appears to have a king sized bed rather than double. Bed and bedding were very comfortable and had great sleeps. Handy new utility room with washer, drier and ironing equipment. Kitchen well equipped. Enclosed garden good for dogs but the fencing on the right is not high and lacks privacy from neighbouring properties. There is a partly hidden gas tank in the middle of the rear lawn but this did not bother us. Comfortable garden furniture. Clear written instructions around the property but the recycling bin was nearly full on our arrival so a bin collection calendar in clear view for future clients would be useful.
