We had a wonderful week at little barn, the cottage is homely and comfy. It's great to be able to sit outside after a busy day and enjoy the resident wildlife from hares and birds to bats and owls-bring your binoculars! Perfect spot only 10 mins from the beach. Easy to reach Alnwick and Bamburgh too.Helen the host was helpful and friendly, we would thoroughly recommend if you are looking for a lovely relaxing stay in the country within easy reach of attractions.

Lovely, clean cottage in a great location for all the major attractions on the east coast of Northumberland.Kitchen very well equipped, and the furniture was comfortable , as was the bed. The TV is a very good size and smart. The views from the French doors and decking are of open farmland and far reaching.A parking space is right next to the property side, and there’s just 4 steps up to the decking to the entrance door.On a negative note, the shower, although a good size, has very low water pressure and there is not a freezer or dvd player although the details still list these!Although it doesn’t mention it in the details, this cottage, although detached, is not alone. There are two glamping style pods with hot tubs next door (one sleeping 4 and the other 2) and two other smaller pods nearby.

Excellent cottage - one of the best we’ve stayed in. Clean, cosy and comfortable with wonderful far-reaching views. Great facilities for a self-catering break. Perfect location for visiting the area - lots to see and do on the doorstep. Enjoyed watching local nature every morning and evening - such a peaceful place to return to after a day out.
