We had a lovely weeks stay. The house is large, comfortable and well furnished with many additions extras like soaps and shampoos provided. The house is in a very quite location away from busy roads and the children loved the play areas on site as well as the lake walk. We were the only guests on site during our visit so it seemed particularly peaceful. Our only feedback for improvement would be that some of the kitchen equipment is ready to be renewed (a couple of loosening handles) and it would be a benefit to address the upstairs floorboards - in some areas they are quite creaky and dipped. This did not distract from a good stay and good value for Monday.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. It had everything we needed — all the essentials were provided, the beds were really comfortable, and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. The cottage was warm and cosy with the heating on, and the beautiful grounds with a private lake made it feel extra special. The location was great too, perfect for exploring the area. The only small downside was that the washing machine wasn’t a washer-dryer as listed, but that didn’t take away from an otherwise fantastic stay. Highly recommended!

A lovely cottage with plenty of room. If I had any negative thing to say it would be about the low beams upstairs.There really ought to be information about low beams made available on the website. We are a very tall family (all adult visitors) - so while I and my husband were ok at 6’ - our sons who are 6’6” and 6’7” were at risk of knocking themselves out upstairs. Indeed one shower was unusable due to the low ceiling.
