About this property

This annexe is attached to the owner’s main house in the coastal town of Berwick-upon-Tweed, at the most northernly tip of Northumberland. Well-presented across two floors, this deceptively large annexe makes a great holiday base for families eager to uncover Northumberland. Upon arrival you are greeted with parking at the front but wander to the rear enclosed garden to the entrance. Dust off those cooking books and enjoy a home-cooking session in the kitchen, fitted with contemporary appliances and sleek units, before making yourself at home in the lounge, complete with dual aspect windows to offer a bright and airy feel. Completing the ground-floor is a delightful conservatory/dining room, along with a handy shower room where you can freshen up after a long day. Continue upstairs and find the 2 bedrooms, 1 double, 1 twin. There is also a bathroom with choice of bath and shower over. Step outside and enjoy al fresco dinning on the patio in the fully enclosed garden, then unwind and relax in the hot tub. Enjoying a central location in Berwick-upon-Tweed, you're sure to find a wealth of local amenities right on your doorstep; fuel the days excursions with a hearty breakfast at Deyn's Deli Cafe, indulge in a well-deserved bite to eat and a crisp pint of ale at The Barrels, or savour fresh fish and chips from the comfort of your holiday home. Remember your seaside belongings as there are four glorious beaches to choose from, offering peaceful afternoons, glorious scenery and watersport opportunities. The town is packed with history and heritage, most of which can be uncovered at Berwick Castle, overlooking the North Sea and Berwick Museum and Art Gallery. Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and choose The Annexe for your next retreat to Northumberland.

The property is located a short walking distance into town and there is a pleasant walk along the riverside to keep you away from traffic. I would definitely recommend this property

Was very warm and welcoming to come back to on dark winter evenings. Furniture in the lounge area was a bit minimal - there were just 2 of us, if 4 people were staying seating would be a bit limited and there was no side table or shelving to put our books and maps etc on. An electrical problem during our stay was dealt with very quickly and efficiently. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again when we come back to the area.

As we were visiting relatives it was ideal for us. The welcome basket was appreciated and a nice touch. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.
