Snaptrip says

The Old Stables in Belford is a well-received holiday cottage, praised for its cleanliness, modern amenities, and prime location for exploring Northumberland. Guests appreciate the cosy comfort, though some noted the property can be a bit small for relaxing. The village's charm and the proximity to local pubs and shops add to the appeal, despite occasional issues with parking and noise from nearby deliveries.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently describe the property as spotless, very clean, and well-maintained, indicating high standards of cleanliness.

The cottage is appreciated for its quiet village setting, convenient access to the A1, and proximity to the Northumberland coast, though some guests experienced difficulties with parking and limited local dining options.

The property is generally found to be comfortable and cosy, with a few guests suggesting improvements such as additional seating and better pillows for enhanced relaxation.

Facilities are regarded as modern and well-equipped, including a surprise dishwasher. However, some guests noted issues with the bathroom layout, stiff taps, and a lack of outdoor space for drying clothes or for pets.

While some reviews mention treats and a welcoming message upon arrival, there is not enough consistent information across the reviews to accurately assess the level of thoughtfulness as a standard offering, and thus the score is set to null.

Although it’s a small property, it’s perfect for two people and in our case a small dog. When we arrived it was clean and very well equipped with everything we needed and more. The owners have renovated it so beautifully. Belford is lovely and near so many gorgeous dog-friendly places. We found the pubs in Belford ok but its definitely worth a drive to Alnwick which has the most amazing dog-friendly restaurants/pubs. If you don’t want to drive elsewhere, Sunny Hills in Belford is absolutely amazing and does the yummiest cakes!
