Welcomed to cottage with bottle wine and chocolates. Towels provided for each guest, toilet and kitchen. Lots of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits provided. Loo roll, washing up liquid and hand wash all provided.Lots of room, very comfortable, central heating worked well to quickly provide heat boost. We didn't use smart TV, instead we're able to plug in Firestick, connected to WiFi.Garden area had picnic benches and BBQ. At night garden had multi coloured solar fairy lights.Black Swan pub in front of cottage, very dog friendly, but separate area for those few people who'd rather not have dog beside them. Served good, tasty meals. Small menu, but served us well. Other pub, The Salmon, also dog friendly, had nice beer garden. Local chippy, opposite Co-op, local Deli shop in town, with grocery selection, local bakery, veggies and meat for sale. Great base to visit different towns and villages in Northumberland.

Lovely little cottage. Allows multiple dogs which most places don't. Good location for visiting landmarks (bambrough castle and st Cuthbert's cave ten minutes away). Lots of pubs in Belford. Kids play park within walking distance (a few minutes away).
