This beautiful stone building has been lovingly refurbished to provide a contemporary cottage, perfect for an escape to the country. Set in a peaceful countryside location, there is plenty to see and explore in the area, and you are only a few minutes drive from the coast. With the magnificent Bamburgh Castle on your doorstep, you will also find the seaside village of Seahouses and the tiny civil parish of Holy Island a short drive away. Ideally suited as a base for exploring the Northumberland coast and its many attractions including Dark Skies, the cottage is also a short distance from a selection of local shops as well as the village pub. Upon entering the house, you will come into a fully equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge. Just off the kitchen is a lounge and dining area with two comfortable sofas, TV and warming electric fire. A dining table for two overlooking the rear gardens is the perfect spot for a romantic dinner. There is also a shower room with walk in shower, hand basin, WC and underfloor heating on the ground floor. Stairs lead up to a bright spacious bedroom with king size bed and TV, where you will also find complimentary bathrobes for use during your stay. At the rear of the property, there is a private decked area with seating and views to the gardens, perfect for a morning coffee listening to the sounds of the birds in the countryside all around.
