Great location next to beach with car parking. Good bedrooms with comfortable beds and very happy with the space and layout of the kitchen and dining/lounge. Towels, bedding all good. WiFi excellent. Appreciated the welcome pack including bottle of wine on arrival. However the holiday did not get off to a good start because we discovered that the three drawers containing the cutlery, utensils and pans were swimming in water. We contacted the agent who sent a plumber round in case of a leak. Fortunately there wasn't a leak but he had to take everything out to dry off the drawers and contents. There were also a number of other niggly issues which were frustrating.1. Dirty bin (not cleaned out)2. Handle of fridge extremely loose3. Only left hand side of toaster working4. All floors dusty and gritty that would appear to have not been swept.5. Outdoor furniture in rear garden too dirty to sit on and use (we tried cleaning it unsuccessfully)6. We also thought it somewhat unhygienic to have hoover/brushes/dustpan and brush propped up in a corner of the kitchen. 7.Problem with radiator leak in bathroom. Plumber was sent for twice and eventually (after we left) a new radiator was fitted.We appreciate that most of the above might seem trivial to some but we felt it is important to have our feelings noted. This of course determined our overall rating on this apartment which has the potential to be an excellent rental property. We would also like to say that we were grateful that the agent responded promptly to the issues she could do something about.

Prudhoe Mews is a wonderful apartment. It’s well equipped and comfortable. Great position across from the boat yard and a bonus designated parking space. Lovely outdoor seating in the gardens. There are 2 double bedrooms and one twin, all have adequate wardrobe space.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Proudhoe Mews apartment. Clean, well equipped and in a great location across from the beach, with added bonus of private parking. Would certainly recommend.
