Snaptrip says

Guests consistently praise Broken-Sky Lodge for its cleanliness, comfort, and peaceful location. The lodge is well-equipped, with a hot tub that is a particular highlight. The surrounding area offers lovely walks and wildlife, with convenient access to local attractions. Some guests mention thoughtful touches by the hosts, adding to the lodge's charm.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The lodge receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews noting it as 'spotless' and 'nipping clean'. One review mentioned a few cleanliness issues, but this seems to be an isolated case in the context of overall feedback.

The location is frequently described as peaceful and ideal for exploring Northumberland. Proximity to walking paths, Kielder Water, and local pubs is appreciated, although one review mentioned a desire for more benches by the lake.

Comfort is a strong point, with guests finding the beds comfy and the lodge well-equipped. The hot tub adds to the comfort factor. However, a suggestion for blackout blinds indicates that there is room for improvement.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with the hot tub being serviced daily and the lodge being well-appointed. Some guests missed walking paths due to closures and one mentioned a need for storage for muddy boots, which affects the score slightly.

Several reviews mention thoughtful gestures such as a bottle of Prosecco and chocolate biscuits, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. While these gifts are warmly received, it's important to note that such personal touches, though delightful, are not guaranteed.

We enjoyed walks round the area, especially to the village pub, which does lovely food. It was a great base to explore Northumberland. Only feedback was that the lodge could have done with blackout blinds as the sun woke us up, but who can complain at the sun!
