The spacious open plan living area makes a fabulous social space, from modern kitchen to light filled living room. The master bedroom has a sumptuous kingsize bed, Smart TV and en-suite shower room. Visit the Alnwick Garden, a spectacular interpretation of a formal garden, including the Grand Cascade waterfall and poison garden. Here guests can dine in the restaurant of the largest tree house in Europe, nestled in the treetops, with a roaring log fire in the wintertime, and a reputation for excellence. Maltster’s Rest is an excellent base from which you can easily explore the beautiful 20-mile stretch of Northumberland Heritage coastline, designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The coastal town of Alnmouth, with its beautiful beach is just 4½ miles to the east and for walkers you have the wild and unspoilt expanses of the heather-capped Cheviot Hills to the west. The apartment was very stylish, warm and comfortable with good sized rooms and a well equipped kitchen. Dedicated parking space was a bonus. Would certainly book again.
