In an ideal location but could do with some tlc. The outside area had blackened flagstones and lots of weeds in the gravel and didn’t give the ideal first impression. The kitchen equipment needs bringing up to date and would benefit from a deep clean. The rest of the house was comfortable.

We were so lucky to find this little gem, we booked it last minute due to a cancellation. It was perfect for 2 with a spacious lounge/ kitchen dining area and downstairs was a spacious bedroom. The cottage was well equipped, there was also a garden and parking which in Alnmouth is very rare! We wouldn’t hesitate to rebook as it’s so convenient not just for Alnmouth but also the surrounding areas. You can go out for the day and return to eat in one of the many restaurants or pubs.. There’s also lots of beautiful walks locally if you wanted to stay local.
