When it’s time to eat, make your way to the expansive open-plan kitchen/diner which is fully equipped with everything needed to produce hearty meals for the group. Pull up a stool at the breakfast bar, pour yourself a glass of your favourite tipple and keep the designated chef company. Serve up at the contemporary dining table which easily seats six and you can look forward to long, lazy meals together. Should the weather allow then you can carry on the evening outside, where you will find an enclosed garden complete with decking and a fantastic hot tub where even on a chilly Northumbrian night, you can enjoy the great outdoors. Sugar Sands and Howdiment Sands are within walking distance, the perfect setting for a seaside stroll with nearby attractions such as Howick Hall and Gardens, Craster Harbour, approximately 4 miles away, Warkworth Castle, Bailiffgate Museum, Northumberland Zoo, Dunstanburgh Castle and Hauxley Nature Reserve. Take a scenic drive along the coast and check out villages along the way including Amble, Boulmer, Beadnell, Alnmouth, Seahouses and Craster. Take a boat trip over to the infamous Farne Islands and look out for some fantastic birds and even seals. The attractive market town of Alnwick is well worth a visit with its good selection of shops and eateries, making it the ideal place for stocking up on essentials and stopping off for a bite to eat. Alnwick's attractive and historic market town is dominated by Alnwick Castle, which is home to the Duke of Northumberland. The Castle Gardens, which opened in 2002, feature Europe's largest cascading water feature, a fantastic (and enormous) treehouse, a delightful rose garden, and a beautiful, walled ornamental garden that will delight both novice and experienced gardeners. The castle is also famous as the setting for Hogwarts School featured in the Harry Potter films!
