Jubilee House has a rich grain of history dating back to the 1830’s as part of the old Alnwick coach works but now offers a very good standard of accommodation, sleeping up to four within a boutique hotel finish, whilst still providing that homely feel. It is perfect for short romantic breaks or a week’s bolt hole to explore all of Northumberland’s coast, castles and countryside.
Alnwick is a popular tourist destination and offers a wide range of facilities, all within distance of Jubilee House, including independent shops, restaurants and a wide variety of pubs. Visitors will enjoy a trip to Alnwick Castle, renowned for being the film location for Harry Potter’s Hogwarts. Alnwick Gardens with its grand cascade waterfall and tree house restaurant is also well worth a visit. This property would rate a 9/10 poss 10/10, were it not for the fact that it advertises wifi which we could not get and see no evidence of there being one to connect to. We tried two number to contact owners and are still waiting to here back. left voice message on mobile number the other said unable to connect you. We would not have booked if knew no wifi. The house its self is beautiful and i agree with a previous review saying bed comfortable but too low. but i would add the settee for same reason. The shower although big i found slippy. We were left with one toilet roll that lasted three days for two of us had to buy own i booked for four people. Need a coffee table for settee area we had to use the bench of the diner. Bedrooms are a good size and all rooms are nicely decorated. large black mark on table which came off when i gave it a proper clean. Kettle very noisy. Info in book not current bins different colour and are owners numbers up to date. I am really sorry to write this review as you have a good product just needs managing better. With these issue we WOULDN'T rebook fixed i would book again.

Lovely comfortable house in a great location for exploring Northumberland. Worth knowing that the designated parking space is tricky to access (through a narrow archway). Limited storage space in the kitchen for food. Bedrooms could do with a few more drawers for clothes.
