Blackbird House was well maintained and decorated with some great period features. Had good facilities and was clean. Was fog friendly and plenty of space for our 2 dogs. A great base to see Northumberland from as Alnwick was within an hour’s drive of some great beaches, castles, stately homes and amazing scenery. Really enjoyed our stay. Only challenge was parking but on most days managed to park very close to the house.

We loved the house, it was very comfortable. We were within easy reach of everything in Alnwick and the places of interest. It's a great area.really good for the dog and Barter Books of course. We will be back.

We had a lovely weeks holiday in the cottage which was most enjoyable, the only problem we had was parking in front of the cottage but having said that it's quite easy to find somewhere close by to park. If we ever go to Alnwick again we would definitely try to get this accommodation.
