National Cycle Route 1 runs through the area and there are many popular seaside villages to explore including Bamburgh, Seahouses, Beadnell, Warkworth, Newton by the Sea, Craster, Amble and Howick. You can also enjoy boat trips out to see the birdlife on Coquet Island or the Farne Islands, or visit the Holy Island of Lindisfarne.
