The original windows flood the home with natural light, creating a bright and relaxing ambience. A wood burner adds warmth and comfort, making it the ideal place to unwind after a day exploring the countryside. The dining area flows seamlessly into the bespoke kitchen, complete with everything you need to prepare and enjoy meals together. A few steps down from the main living space, the lower ground floor offers a peaceful kingsize bedroom, a stylish bathroom with a shower cubicle, and a utility room with a washing machine, perfect for longer stays. Upstairs, there are four further beautifully designed bedrooms. One has a single bed with an additional pull-out, one has a queensize bed, and another offers a kingsize zip and link bed. The family bathroom feels like a private spa, featuring a double shower and an elegant stone resin free-standing bath, perfect for a relaxing soak. The master suite completes the home with a super king bed, large walk-in wardrobe and luxurious en-suite with a shower cubicle and double sinks.

Visited as a family of 6. House was presented fantastically, Mark met us on arrival and showed us around. House was well equipped with high quality products, bedding and accessories. Our visit was hampered by storm Boelo which caused power dips, Mark checked in on us and visited us after to check the house and ensure everything was working correctly, excellent host. Visited the local pub for an excellent meal and atmosphere. Plenty of local takeways within easy walking distance.Would recommend and visit again.

Perfect for a girls weekend catch up. Mark met us on arrival, showed us how to work heating etc. personal touch on items to use. Hot tub was perfect. Enough space and rooms for us.

We had a wonderful time at the Village Hall. The facilities were excellent, the welcome from Mark and Joanne was warm and informative..in fact , perfect ! The quality of fittings was outstanding , the bedding was superior quality and the numbers of plates, cups, glasses, pans etc generous. The location was ideal as we travelled to Beamish, Durham and other places but, the village itself offered much ..including a great Italian restaurant , Indian restaurant and pub with food. We feel so lucky to have found this wonderful property for just a 3 night stay….wish it could have been longer .
