A wood burner adds warmth and comfort, making it the ideal place to unwind after a day exploring the countryside. The dining area flows seamlessly into the bespoke kitchen, complete with everything you need to prepare and enjoy meals together. A few steps down from the main living space, the lower ground floor offers a peaceful kingsize bedroom, a stylish bathroom with a shower cubicle, and a utility room with a washing machine, perfect for longer stays. Upstairs, there are four further beautifully designed bedrooms. One has a single bed with an additional pull-out, one has a queensize bed, and another offers a kingsize zip and link bed. The family bathroom feels like a private spa, featuring a double shower and an elegant stone resin free-standing bath, perfect for a relaxing soak. The master suite completes the home with a super king bed, large walk-in wardrobe and luxurious en-suite with a shower cubicle and double sinks.

We had the most fabulous break for a family celebration in this beautiful house in Shotley Bridge. The house itself is absolutely stunning, with so much history attached to it, making our stay even more special.Everything was spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and so wonderfully peaceful - the perfect place to relax and spend quality time together as a family.Mark was an exceptional host, checking in with us several times during our stay to make sure everything was perfect. He also recommended some wonderful places for us to visit and local restaurants which made our trip even more enjoyable. Mark and Jo made us and our dogs feel so welcome from the moment we arrived.We would return in a heartbeat and can't thank Mark and Jo enough for their hospitality. If you're looking for a beautiful home in a lovely, quiet little village, this is the perfect place.

Mark gave us a warm welcome and was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We stayed as a family of 10, plus our dogs,. The Village Hall was a stunning property with everything we needed for the perfect break. The thoughtful little touches and attention to detail made our stay even more special. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax and spend quality time together. The location is excellent too, with a pub and several restaurants just a short walk away in the village. We had a fantastic stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
