Offering a luxury base, complete with state-of-the-art appliances, stylish designer furnishings, bathrooms, and an expansive 0.5-acre garden, Sparrows Nest makes the perfect base for a large family or friends break or celebration, inviting ten guests and two babies to indulge in a seascape. The property sits on a private lane and benefits from six private parking spaces, and a handy 22KW fast EV charger. The huge feature front door invites you into the hallway and the open-plan living space, contemporarily designed and flooded with natural light through the extensive floor to ceiling windows, where you'll find a fully-equipped, sleek German designer kitchen, dining space for all guests, and a dedicated seating area to socialise and entertain. Step through the five-meter-wide sliding doors on to a huge terrace with hot tub attached and which looks out on to the expansive enclosed garden and seascape.

The house nestles in the middle of the plot which is almost 100M long. The enclosed garden is accessed from the kitchen and has a sunny aspect all day. Due to the unique orientation of the property the rear garden also enjoys a day long sunny aspect but also provides for shading from the trees. This area has been designed with a parkland setting in mind with extensive paths and a huge 5M in diameter purpose built private fire pit that can easily seat fifteen people. As the sun sets, head to the sitting room featuring a handmade velvet corner sofa that can seat ten people, a 75” Smart TV, and fully integrated top of the range Sennheiser home theatre system to complete your immersive experience. Access to a host of media channels is provided via Now TV (including all Sky channels and BT Sport channels), where you can enjoy a film night or catch up with your latest series on Netflix.

All of the five stylish bedrooms include top of the range mattresses and fully fitted wardrobes and a hairdryer. There is a super-king-size on the ground floor, offering great accessibility for those with limited mobility, and an en-suite shower room. Head upstairs to locate two super-king-size bedrooms with zip/link beds, both with access to private balconies and spectacular sea views. The family bathroom houses a walk-in shower and free-standing bath, so you can best decide how to prepare for the day. There are two master bedrooms to the property, the king size bed on the first floor has sliding doors on to its own large private terrace with sea view, Smart TV and en-suite bathroom. The principal master bedroom suite occupies the whole of the second floor, with a super-king-size bed, Smart TV, en-suite bathroom with a free-standing bath, and sliding door access to a private sea facing terrace. Awaken to a refreshing shower or a long soak in the indulgent bath, before enjoying your morning coffee and sea views upon the terrace. All bathrooms also have vanity drawer units under the sink with mirrored cabinets above the sink. There are shaving and toothbrush charger sockets in all bathrooms. There is also a separate ground floor cloakroom with WC and basin.

Discover the spacious boot room, with plenty of space to hang up coats and jackets and put shoes and boots out of the way. It has a special plumbed in dog basin (with hot water) for cleaning those muddy sandy paws and there are plenty of games and puzzles to stay occupied on those rainy days!

There is extensive external lighting including lighting bollards to the private lane when returning in the dark. You can control all of the music, lighting, heating and video intercom from the smart home touch screens located in the kitchen and second floor bedroom. Whilst travelling through the home all systems can be controlled from one of the three smart home remotes. All of the rooms have fixed key pads to control lighting and the extensive lighting scenes designed for your pleasure.

If you can tear yourself away from your luxury abode, head for Carbis Bay Beach or Porthminster Beach, both enveloped by stunning, turquoise waters, before dining out at the popular Porthminster Beach Café; in the area you'll find a selection of shops and eateries to ease your stay, along with the chance to tour the St Ives Harbour, Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, and Tate St Ives gallery. Head south for Penzance Promenade, offering another day near the coastline, where you can sample some local produce at Argoe seafood restaurant whilst enjoying quayside views, whilst the Newlyn Art Gallery is nearby for art enthusiasts. End your break by following the Penwith Heritage Coast walking trail, reaching the vantage point of Land's End, and the fabulous surfing beach at Sennen, before returning home for sundowners around the fire pit. The beachfront community of Carbis Bay, which is only a short drive from famous St. Ives, is well-known for its stunning stretch of fine, white sand. The beach feels almost subtropical with its turquoise seas and protected surroundings, making it the ideal location for a traditional day by the sea. If sunbathing is not really your thing, why not rent a kayak or stand-up paddleboard (SUP) and venture out on the water instead? The Ocean Sports Centre is located on the beach. Or why not treat yourself to a spa day at the charming hotel that has a gorgeous patio where you can sip cocktails while enjoying the Cornish sunlight and views out onto the beach?
