Had a lovely week at The Old Byre. Clear communications beforehand from Pippa, the owner, and during our stay. The cottage was very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. Thoughtful welcome package including home made cake, prosecco, biscuits, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. The hot tub was blissful and a great spot for stargazing!The WiFi was somewhat temperamental, however the owner was awaiting an engineer to resolve the issue. Plenty to see and do within a short driving distance.

A gorgeous cottage. Bed was unbelievably comfortable and the bathroom was fabulous. Spotlessly clean. Due to Storm Dave, the power was out, but Pippa provided access to the generator so we at least had some power, and I would never have done the puzzle provided otherwise!The gluten free welcome cake was a lovely touch too (I’m a coeliac). Would love to return if ever in the area again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
