Walking enthusiasts will enjoy the many walks around the town of Consett, whilst cyclists can take the coast-to-coast cycle route, taking in many lovely views. While Durham is 20 minutes away and Newcastle city centre just a 30-minute drive, this is the perfect location for those looking to experience the northern culture.
