This is a really cute place to stay and amazingly situated for the beach. We were a party of 4 adults and 2 dogs so the enclosed garden was perfect. Beds were clean and comfortable, kitchen well equipped. On the downside there are no mirrors in the bedrooms, and as my friend sat on a dining chair it collapsed under her, luckily she wasn't hurt. Check in was 4pm which is quite late I think. Some areas hadn't been cleaned, behind the TV was a huge dusty and thick cobweb. I think this little shack is probably better suited for 2 as there isn't much storage so you could use the second bedroom for that. It has some lovely quirky touches and is in a lovely location, on the whole would probably visit again in the future

Obviously this will happen in the winter and we did have an enormous amount of rain and with Norfolk being flat there is nowhere for the water to drain. The hut was very cold when we arrived and it took us sometime to figure out the electric heating as never used it before. Once on it was fine. Lovely transformation of the shack and great size garden. Note it is very dark in winter and no street lights. There was an outside light but it didn't work and I walked into the garden bench when dog went for a wee. Also no cupboard to store dry food and washing machine has no dryer so difficult to try and dry your clothes plus also difficult to get soap powder in the despenser as it doesn't pull out far enough in the unit. Beach is very close by so great for your dog. As my brother lives in North Walsham we know the area very well and it's great to explore. The beds were very comfortable .

We had the most amazing trip. The shack is beautiful and the location is perfect. We are 2 adults and our teenage son and the place was great size for the three of us and our 3 dogs. The beach (picturesque) and rural location for us was everything we wanted from our short trip. We went for dinners at local pubs (the star inn was our favourite) locals were super friendly and helpful. Norwich city centre was also a dream, we visited the Norwich market and strolled down elm hill, we also visited an antiques stores located in the church (stunning). Happisburgh lighthouse is also beautiful and well worth a visit. Our 3 dogs thoroughly enjoyed the large secure garden and the beach on our doorstep for their walks. Owners are quick to respond if needed aswell. Overall one of the best uk trips we have had and we are very grateful to John and Carly for having us.
