Snaptrip says

Chalk Cottage in Thetford, Norfolk, is a well-received holiday rental, particularly praised for its cleanliness, dog-friendly garden, and cosy atmosphere with a wood-burning stove. The property is appreciated for its proximity to local amenities and Thetford Forest, making it an ideal spot for both pets and their owners. While some guests have suggested improvements, the overall experience is positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of guests have reported the cottage to be very clean, with several reviews highlighting its spotless condition upon arrival. This suggests a high standard of cleanliness is maintained.

The location is generally praised for being peaceful and close to local shops and Thetford Forest. However, some guests noted the lack of nearby dining options, slightly affecting the score.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with special mentions of a well-secured garden and the provision of dog beds. Some concerns about the bedding and sofas have been noted, which impacts the score.

Facilities are well-regarded, especially for pet owners, but some guests have reported issues with kitchen equipment, hot water availability, and maintenance of furniture and appliances.

While some guests appreciated touches like dog beds and bowls, there is no consistent mention of gifts or extra thoughtful gestures that would warrant a score in this category.

We liked the added touch of coffee, tea bags and milk available. We left the place as we found it, floors all hoovered and washed etc. It's nice to be nice and we had a nice time. Thanks again. Will definitely return. Best wishes Russ

Especially nice for our dog as the garden is totally enclosed so could just leave the back door open and he could come and go as he pleased. Cottage nice and cool inside which was a bonus as we were there in the Sept heatwave

Secure for pooches. Very quiet location. Shop is really handy and a few steps away. The pub in the village is very quiet and no longer serves food.
