This Grade II listed cottage enjoys a quiet location in the village of Field Dalling in the Norfolk countryside. Just a few miles north of the cottage, there is an excellent choice of beaches many of which offer wide expanses of golden sand, such as those at Holkham and Wells next the Sea. The Holkham Hall Estate is just ten miles away from the property and is a wonderful place for a day trip, with its 18th century manor house, extensive gardens and coastal estate land encompassing over 25000 acres. Other days out within easy reach include the nature reserve at Blakeney Point, the secluded beaches of Scolt Head Island, and the family friendly resort of Cromer. On arrival at this 200 year old Grade II listed cottage guests will find space to leave their coats and boots in the hallway before continuing through to the pretty lounge with its large open fireplace, inviting sofas, and a TV in the lounge. The kitchen/diner, next to the lounge, has a dining area at one end with a tiled Pamment floor and exposed pebble work wall, whilst at the other end of the room the kitchen has been laid out in a galley style and is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. The bathroom can also be found on the ground floor, offering a bath, shower enclosure and WC. Stairs lead up to the first floor where there are two bedrooms. The first of these is a pretty room with a king size bed, whilst the second is a restful twin room with a beamed ceiling. Outside, the cottage benefits from a fantastic large enclosed gardens which is mostly laid to lawn, beyond there is a beautiful wildflower meadow. to encourage wildlife and owls. Garden furniture is provided There is a driveway to the front of the cottage which offers off road parking for three cars. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 king size and 1 twin. 1 bathroom with bath, shower enclosure and WC. Open fire Logs not provided. Oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. EV charging is not permitted under any circumstances at the property. There is no Wi fi at the property. Off road parking for 3 cars. Pub and shop 1 mile, beach 4 miles. The owner only accepts 7 Night bookings from 1st May 30th September..
