Sandbanks is an ideal location just 50 yards from the lovely unspoilt sandy beach at Bacton, it is a very well presented, contemporary, detached holiday property boasting an indoor heated swimming pool, and conservatory with French doors opening onto an enclosed garden and seating terrace. This property provides fantastic accommodation for any time of the year. Located on the north coast, east of Mundesley, with Norwich, Cromer, Sheringham and the Norfolk Broads all within easy reach. For visitors with children, Bacton offers a children’s play area. Good fishing, bird watching, sailing and golf nearby. Bewilderwood at Horning is a great day out for the children, an outdoor adventure park with tree walks, zip wires and many other attractions to amaze. A short drive away is East Ruston Vicarage Gardens, with 32 acres of garden to enjoy.
Cromer and Sheringham for sandy beaches and a wide range of activities for all age groups. Cromer has promenade gardens, pier (seasonal entertainment) and one of the country’s most famous rnli Lifeboat Stations. Sheringham, home to the North Norfolk Steam Railway, passing through countryside designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, visiting the nearby coastline village of Weybourne. The lively seaside resort of Great Yarmouth for fun fair, Sea Life Centre, indoor leisure complex with aqua pool and shopping centre is 25 miles. Norfolk Broads offer daily boat hire and river trips, a natural haven for wildlife, plenty of picnic opportunities by the river side and many riverside inns and cafés. There are a number of NT properties worth visiting in the area. Visit the seal colony at Horsey beach, an amazing sight especially between December to February, with all the seal pups on the beach. Local market town of North Walsham, 5 miles, for regular market days, shops and pubs. Fine city of Norwich, 18 miles. Shop and pub 400 yards.

Having the beach just two minutes walk away and a pub five minutes away is the perfect location for us. The swimming pool is amazing and at a comfortable temperature. We shall return next year.

The location is amazing and the house is lovely but you soon notice things that could be better. The pedal bin in the kitchen was broke on arrival, the lid need to be lifted off every time you wanted to use it. My partner managed to fix that. I'm not sure how much cleaning actually happens between guests as there were previous guests swimwear in one of the bathrooms. I wasn't aware that there was a side gate until I realised it had been left open and a dog at some point had left us a present in the garden. We were unable to use the garage as the door appeared to be broken. Unfortunately that's where the bins are, so we spent a week with food waste and recycling piling up in the kitchen. We did let the caretaker know 2 days into our holiday and was told someone would come and look at it the next day. Nobody came and we didn't hear anything else from them. The kettle is well overdue a descale.The main bed (double) has the thinnest and hardest mattress I have ever seen or had the misfortune of sleeping in. Not only that the sheet and mattress protector was cheap, ill fitting and very worn. If I had them at home, they would go in the bin. I wouldn't recommend nor return.
