All on one level, it features a spacious open-plan living area, where a large patio door floods the room with natural light. This opens onto a covered seating verandah and a lovely lawn garden that leads directly to the waterside. The property maximizes its stunning riverside views, which can be enjoyed from the decked seating terrace – the perfect spot to relax, soak up the sun and watch the boating activity. The chalet is well-equipped for dining in, boasting two lovely bedrooms and a level-access shower cubicle. Whether you’re seeking an active holiday or a more laid-back experience, this property offers something for everyone, and you’re sure to be delighted.

The surrounding area is rich in wildlife, with herons and kingfishers frequently spotted. Brundall, located on the southern rivers of the Norfolk Broads National Park, is a popular destination for sailing and motorboats. You can rent a day boat, kayak, or dinghy (booking is recommended during the peak summer season) to explore the miles of scenic inland waterways at your own pace. There are plenty of waterside eateries and picnic spots nearby, including two local pubs, a marina café/restaurant, and a railway station offering easy access to Norwich City and the traditional seaside resort of Great Yarmouth.

The village centre of Brundall, just 1 mile away, offers a mini supermarket, post office, doctors, hairdresser, beautician, an Indian restaurant, and another local pub serving delicious food.     Stunning property. River is in the back garden. Easy walk to the train station which is handy travelling in and out of Norwich. Comfy and cosy. Good for a romantic getaway.

    The cottage is in a lovely position, nice and clean, the kitchen had everything you could need and the lounge was comfortable. The beds were comfy and the bathroom had plenty of toiletries. Would recommend this cottage and thinking about going back next year.
