Situated in working farmland just a stone's throw from Wiveton, enjoy sublime countryside views from almost every window and scenic rural footpaths beginning from the doorstep of this spectacular cottage, the ultimate rural escape perfect for that long-awaited get-together with family or friends, plus canine pals.
At the heart of this home-from-home, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, boasting a high vaulted ceiling and exposed brickwork fireplace, perfectly combines rustic charm with homely contemporary touches. The roaring wood burner sets the scene for ultimate relaxation whilst the rustic kitchen will inspire you to create something delicious with your local produce. You'll also find a playroom on the ground floor, perfect for children, as well as three cosy bedrooms, one king-size, one en-suite double and a twin bedroom, adorned with crisp, white linens and homely touches that ensure a peaceful rest. Upstairs, you'll find one en-suite twin and one en-suite super-king-size bedroom, which both offer a haven of tranquillity to retire to at the end of a busy day. Make the most of the stunning countryside scenery by dining alfresco on the stone terrace in the enclosed, walled yard as children let off some steam on the lawn or climbing frame.
Overlooking the Glaven Valley, the charming village of Wiveton, set in the Norfolk Coast National Landscape, is perfect for keen outdoor explorers, home to plenty of fantastic country and coastal walks. Those who love life on the water can book a boat trip to see the local seal colonies at Blakeney, 2.5 miles away, whilst culture vultures can dive into hundreds of years of local history at Holkham Hall (12 miles), a splendid Palladian mansion set amidst vast parklands. The Victorian seaside resort of Cromer, home to the country's only remaining traditional end-of-pier variety show, can be reached within 15 miles.
