History buffs will adore spending a few hours at Houghton Hall (8 miles), a grand Palladian mansion that dates back to the 1720s. Overflowing with fine art, ornate interiors and vast landscaped grounds, it’s a real hidden gem. For some traditional seaside fun, head to Holkham Beach (15 miles), a spectacular stretch of golden sand that’s backed by magnificent dunes and pine forests. You may be lucky enough to spot seals basking offshore. Further afield, head to Sandringham (17 miles) to check out the Royal Family’s rural retreat.

From your private parking area (there’s room for two cars), step inside your yurt, and you’ll find a wonderful, welcoming interior that blends rustic charm with boutique-style comfort. Afterwards, let the private fire pit draw everyone together for marshmallows and stargazing. A shared shower block with a private shower and WC for your use completes the glamping setup.
