Unfortunately our holiday was not as expected. The first night I had a fall down the bottom step in the garden which has resulted in me breaking my ankle. The host never informed us that the garden was unsafe and not fit for purpose, otherwise we would never off gone outside in the garden. The steps were different heights, no hand rail and no outdoor lightening. We tried contacting the owners and the emergency help contact number various times but no one answered. This made us go home which meant we literally had no holiday. Once again we tried to contact the host and air b and b and again no one has got back to us. Very disappointing

The cottage was in a lovely location peaceful and in walking distance to a park, which our toddler loved. Good drivable distance to lots of lovely beaches and towns, plenty to do and see. Unfortunately we didnt have the easiest or best experience upon arrival as the cleaners were mid way through still cleaning when we arrived at 3:20 - 20minutes after the time we were allowed to check in. Mesaged the host on the app who was unapologetic and didnt actually respond back to us with anything constructive. We managed to get in at 4pm but not ideal when you have a small child and youve been travelling for hours. Im unsure if the cleaners rushed to get out or whether this was the usual standard, but the accommodation wasnt as clean or as well maintained as I expected. Dirty marks on the floor, a tisue left behind near the sofa and dirt on the cooker. Again not ideal when you have a small child. Not to mention the rusty pliers left in the shoe cupboard that wasnt fixed to the wall.
