The Granary Cottage in King's Lynn is praised for its spaciousness, comfort, and excellent location for exploring Norfolk. Guests frequently mention the friendly and helpful owners, peaceful surroundings, and suitability for those with mobility needs. The cottage is generally well-equipped and offers good parking. While most reviews highlight cleanliness and comfort, a few guests noted issues with the oven, some dated furnishings, and occasional lapses in housekeeping. Overall, the property provides a welcoming and relaxing base for holidays, with the positives far outweighing the negatives.

Most guests found the cottage clean and tidy, with several describing it as spotlessly clean. However, a minority reported issues such as dust under beds, dirty ovens, and occasional lapses in housekeeping, which slightly lowers the overall impression.

The location is highly praised for its peaceful village setting and convenience for exploring North and West Norfolk. Guests appreciated the proximity to local amenities, attractions, and easy access to the coast and countryside.

The cottage is widely described as comfortable, spacious, and cosy, with good beds and quiet surroundings. Some guests noted that the sofas were low or soft, and a few mentioned issues with heating, but overall comfort levels are high.

Facilities are generally well-received, with guests noting a well-equipped kitchen, good parking, and accessibility features. Some reviews mention minor maintenance issues, such as a dated bathroom, worn kitchen items, and the need for additional towel rails or updated appliances.

The owners are frequently described as friendly, helpful, and accommodating, providing a warm welcome and useful local information. While some guests appreciated thoughtful touches, there is no consistent mention of gifts or extras, and such gestures cannot be guaranteed.

It needed a Professional Clean. Our only complaint! Because we had purchased a pizza to have our meal on arrival after our journey and had to throw it away! We ended up going out for a meal, at a local pub!

Could not use oven because it was unhygenic. Owners friendly and helpful, cottage has potential to be really nice if above problems were sorted.

The weather wasn’t very warm and we were cold. We were told to alter the thermostat in order to get the heating switched on. It worked a bit and then would go off and not come on when we expected it to. So we were feeling quite cold for a lot of the time. We think that needs sorting. Otherwise everything was great.
