Downstairs, the cottage is full of character and cosy charm. The sitting room features a traditional open fireplace making it the perfect spot to unwind after a day exploring the coast. The well equipped kitchen includes a dining area for relaxed breakfasts and leisurely suppers, while a convenient ground-floor shower room adds practicality to your stay.

Upstairs, a set of traditional Norfolk winder stairs (steep, narrow and curved, with a handrail on one side) leads to a charming king-size bedroom. These characterful stairs form part of the cottage's historic appeal, but as they are particularly steep and narrow at the top, and there is no stairgate.

Outside, a quaint cottage garden with outdoor furniture provides a lovely place to sit and enjoy the surroundings. Access to the rear of the property is via a shared pathway. A footpath leading directly to Gong Lane offers a pleasant 15-minute walk into Burnham Overy Staithe, emerging beside the village pub, The Hero.
