A fabulous contemporary cedar lodge in the rural village of Ingoldisthorpe, with panoramic countryside and coastal views, Ingol Lodge is ideal for anyone looking for a peaceful escape. Over the winter months wonder at the sight and haunting sound of skeins of pink footed geese as they fly overhead and watch spellbinding seabird murmurations - all from the comfort of this superb lodge.
Constructed in 2020 and being one of three Brickley Wood Lodges (neighbouring Avocet Lodge and Chiffchaf) set high on the hill above the small village of Ingoldisthorpe. With beautiful boutique-style interiors and high end fixtures and fittings, you really will want for nothing - every little detail has been thought of to ensure you have the finest holiday. Just shake off your shoes, slip into the slippers and dressing gowns provided, turn on the coffee machine, take a seat, relax and unwind in peaceful surroundings and simply take in the landscape above and below. The spacious light-filled, open-plan living area at the front of the lodge has a smart fitted kitchen at the back of the room that overlooks the dining and sitting areas where there's a widescreen television to entertain, should you ever tire of the endless view. From here double french doors lead out to an outdoor deck - this part of the North Norfolk coast unusually faces West and is the ideal place to watch as the sun sets on the Wash in its glorious technicolour. At the rear of the lodge is one supremely comfortable master bedroom, with a super-king size bed and an en-suite shower room. An app operated electric charging point is available on site, which is a shared facility with the neighbouring lodge.
Ingoldisthorpe is a charming little village, just inland from the coast, and is perfect for immersing yourself in nature, birdwatching or biking along the national cycle route. Some of Norfolk's finest beaches, country houses, rural and coastal walks, and fine dining are all on the doorstep.
This property can also be booked as a sleeps four option, listed as Ingol Lodge. Booked together with neighbouring Avocet Lodge and Chiffchaff it would make a lovely independent yet joint gathering with family or friends.
