Nestled at the end of a lane, Fantail is located on the edge of the charming village of Harpley. This house is one of two that are situated on either side of The Windmill which stands proudly in the middle. Upon entering Fantail, you will find it to be filled with light, airy, attractively and comfortably furnished, and well-equipped. The overall ambience is one of calm and relaxation, while also tempting you to explore and discover the local area and further afield.
The spacious interior features a generous open-plan living space on the ground floor, which flows from a modern, well-fitted kitchen to a dining area and continues to a seating area at the far end, the room highlighted by the curved brick wall of the windmill running up to the ceiling. A glass balustrade mezzanine on the upper level overlooks the room below, and provides an additional seating area, perhaps for reading or a game of chess (a set is provided).
With a bedroom on each level, a king-size on the first floor, and a double on the ground floor, both dressed with fine Egyptian cotton linen and with their own bathroom, the house lends itself to older families, couples, or friends who value the luxury of private facilities and space while enjoying a getaway together. The garden curves from the front round to the side of the house, is fully enclosed by stylish steel woven fencing, and picnic seating to the front and side, offer different aspects of the superb open views beyond.

WOW! A beautiful property in a lovely location. We had the privilege of being the owners first guests and were made very welcome indeed. Anyone staying at Fantail will enjoy their experience. The property from a practical point of view has all of the essentials with the added bonus of thoughtful items like laundry/dishwasher tablets and other useful items for the bathrooms and well stocked kitchen. The location whilst remote, means that the view from the garden is overlooking the endless fields to the village of Harpley and on a good day, the sunset is beautiful .This accommodation is amazing and well designed. All guests have their own space with each having access to their own bathroom and the kitchen having a lovely view - some very unique features with the viewing gallery and the wall of actual mill - the added bonus of a fantastic tennis court no more than 100m from your door is perfect if you enjoy fun on a court. Access to Harpley is a short pretty 20 min walk where you will find a lovely local pub serving good food and welcoming locals. The beaches are no more than 25 mins in the car and well worth a visit.... this is soooo lovely we are going back for Christmas!
