This property really is perfect for relaxing, unwinding and leaving the stresses of every-day life behind. If you tear yourself away, however, you will find a great deal of things to see, do and explore.
Sand Cottage lies close to rspb Snettsiham and the lovely coastline. You can head to Heacham and explore the sand dunes or a little further to Hunstanton where you will find a host of seaside attractions including a Sea Life Centre and seasonal boat trips out to see the seals. History buffs should make time to explore the Hanseatic Quarter of Old Kings Lynn and the Sandringham, Holkham and Houghton Estates. And, having worked up an appetite you will find lots of great places to eat too, many of which serve local produce. And with lots of year-round dog friendly beach walks and cafes and inns that allow you to bring your fur-friends along too, this is a great location for dog lovers. We expected the worst having read the recent reviews but it wasn't so bad. There are things that could be done to improve this maintenance being one.Update the information given to reflect the current situation ie electric not gas heating. No welcome pack provided. Put the instruction manuals in the property information file so people can see how things work make sure equipment mentioned is working - the tumble dryer is not. There was no clothes airer as mention in property info file.Small touches like some soap in the bathroom and more than 1/4 toilet roll would be good. Dishwasher tablets were missing when the info in the file said there would be some. Maybe the bed would benefit from a new mattress.However, we did enjoy our stay the property is not uncomfortable.

Sands cottage is over rated ,un kept ,outside was neglected shed where washing machine/tumble was a complete tip.Inside was over done ,kitchen was modern looking but a nightmare to use to find anything, dark and miserable, toilet door unlockable,with door stop to keep door shut. Bathroom sink tap had only a trickle of water which was only cold unsuitable for washing or shaving. Bedroom was had dark coloured walls making like sleeping in tunnel, bed side lights were useless unable to reed with.And as for coffee machine built into the kitchen units total waste of space plus it hadn't been cleaned. Oven not much better. It's looks like the are only interested in taking the money.And never did see the welcome pack. Will not be recommending.

The cottage is in a great location in a quiet little lane right near a beach. When we arrived we found that there wasn’t a welcome pack as stated no toilet roll, no bin liners or clothes no washing up bowl so we had to find a supermarket to get the above. My dog went under the bed and came out full of dust and fluff, the information book said to put the rubbish bins out before 7am on Wednesday which we did as it was full it was still there when we left so nowhere to put our rubbish shame it feels unloved needs more attention to detail the bathroom door handle is broken and the sunroom had bird poo on the windows and the floor outside the garden furniture isn’t the same as shown.
