Guests say

Kingfisher Lodge is praised for its cleanliness, well-equipped interiors, and comfort, offering a peaceful and relaxing stay. Some guests noted the lodge's proximity to a caravan site and lack of views, but the overall experience is deemed positive with a cosy atmosphere.

Guests consistently describe the lodge as clean and tidy, with clean linen and a well-maintained interior.

The location receives mixed reviews. While it's noted for being peaceful, concerns are raised about the view, noise potential during peak season, and the exit from the site.

The lodge is frequently commended for its comfort, including a comfy bed and cosy atmosphere, although there were issues with seagulls disturbing the peace.

Facilities are generally well-received, with the lodge being well-equipped. However, there's a mention of an extractor hood not working, and a lack of recycling facilities.

There are no specific mentions of gifts or special touches provided by the hosts, so it's not possible to assess thoughtfulness in this context.

Beds nice and comfortable, but we like to cook our own food, but the kitchen area was very greasy with burned on grease on oven tins and cooker hood filter uncleaned. We ate out twice before coming home a day early as it spoilt my wifes 75th birthday.A lovely lodge but sadly neglected with grass growing out of the gutters and lounge carpets needs cleaning.

Lovely lodge, clean, well equipped, comfy bed, clean linen all round. Lovely balcony gets the sun all day. Now what we consider not so good, Exit from site has to be taken with care, good job it’s a 20 mph zone so traffic going at a steady pace, as exit is on a bend could be dangerous. Lodge backs onto a Haven site, was quiet the week we stayed, but could be noisy at the height of peak season. Shame there’s no recycling facilities. For the position the lodge was in, over looked by Caravan and a house to the side, we feel it was rather expensive.

Very misleading regarding photos of outside of lodge, thought it was a lodge park but no view whatsoever, the views from lodge was of house overlooking the lodge, side of caravan up close, a car park with fence behind and back of rows of caravans otherside of fence, looked forward to sitting on veranda in evening but couldn't as no view, if we knew the location and views from lodge we would never have booked, very misleading, lodge very nice but outside should be shown and people can decide if they want a no view holiday with a house overlooking looking you, nice lodge but feel mislead
