Guests say
Kingfisher Lodge receives praise for its spacious, well-equipped, and clean interiors, offering a comfortable and relaxing stay close to the beach and local amenities. Guests appreciate the peaceful setting and modern facilities. Some mention minor maintenance issues, outside cleanliness, and the proximity to neighbouring caravans and houses, but these do not detract from the overall positive experience. The lodge is particularly noted for being cosy and well-suited for families or couples seeking a restful break.
Most guests found the lodge clean, with fresh linen and tidy interiors. A few noted issues such as greasy kitchen areas, grass in gutters, and outside furniture needing attention, but these were exceptions rather than the rule.
The location is convenient for the beach and local amenities, and generally peaceful. Some guests were disappointed by the lack of scenic views and proximity to other caravans and houses, but most found the setting suitable for a relaxing holiday.
The lodge is widely described as comfortable, with spacious rooms and cosy beds, though a few guests found the beds too firm for their preference. The property is warm and well-suited for both families and couples.
The lodge is well-equipped with everything needed for a self-catering stay, including kitchen essentials and towels. Some minor maintenance issues were reported, such as leaks and extractor hood problems, but these were addressed promptly.
There are no mentions of welcome gifts or extra thoughtful touches in the reviews, so a score cannot be provided for this category.

Beautiful Lodge. Generous sized rooms and all very well equipped. Nice fluffy towels and good bed linen. Very centrally situated for all the surrounding coastal areas. Recommend the Chinese just round the corner. The only negative was that outside the lodge could do with a good clean and the furniture needs replacing also unfortunately had to bin a McDonald's cup full of fag butts before sitting on the veranda. All in all a lovely comfortable stay.
