The lodge is situated in the delightful village of Corton, near Lowestoft in Suffolk, the most easterly point in the UK. Surrounded by numerous areas for walking, it is especially popular with those who like to be close to nature. The coastline and award-winning beaches offer an ideal location for a coastal holiday and are pet friendly all year round, and the area is also famous for stunning sunrises, should weather conditions permit. Inland you are on the doorstep of the southern gateway to the Norfolk Broads National Park and Oulton Broad. Lowestoft has two popular piers, one boasting classic seaside entertainment and the other with an all year-round restaurant with wonderful views of Lowestoft’s beautiful sandy beach. Fantastic! Lovely and clean well loved lodge with a real homely feel.Facilites are good to cook meals ect a comfy lounge and good showers.Also being dog freindly it allowed us to take our dog.The veiws on the veranda were stunning rain or shine you'd never get bored of the view and nice to watch the boats go by.Lots of wildlife too with squirrels,rabbits,deer and different species of birds.All within 10 mins walking distance a beach that allows dogs,nature reserve across the road,good chinese and a dog friendly pub.There is a Tesco 10 min easy drive away and also a village shop.All in all a lovely comfy lodge in a great location,we had a brilliant holiday.

Beautiful location. You can hear the waves lapping on the beach at all hours. So peaceful. Cottage is pristine. Very spacious. Only complaint, which is a small one, was it wasn't clear towels weren't provided, which caused some difficulties. Other than that, great place to stay, with incredible sunrises.

The Lodge is situated in an idyllic place, surrounded by the sea and nature reserve so you absolutely get the best of both worlds. You can observe the wildlife from the balcony which will keep you amused for hours with the sound of the waves crashing into the shore in the background. The lodge has everything you need and is exceptionally clean and comfortable.
