The dining area rests behind this with seating for four people, and is the perfect spot to enjoy a hearty breakfast or a delicious home-cooked meal. The kitchen has been fitted to a high standard with all cream units and sleek black worktops and ample preparation space to inspire some home cooking. Retire to one of two well-presented bedrooms, comprising of a double and twin, both of which have a range of contemporary furniture for storage purposes, with matching bedside tables and lamps, ideal for some late-night reading. The sitting room gives access to the enclosed decking area, where you can sit out in the evening sun with a refreshing drink and dine alfresco whilst the sun sets, you may also be able to spot the buzzards, woodpeckers and stone-curlews which are nestled amongst the trees! The property is situated in the village of Old Buckenham, which is said to have the largest village green in Britain; over 40 acres with duck ponds and playing fields. All Saints Church in the village is one of only six in Norfolk that has an octagonal tower and it dates back to around 1300. The village of Banham rests a short drive away and offers some wonderful attractions, including Banham Zoo, a family park, rich with exotic animals, something you and your little ones will delight in. Fans of the popular TV series Dad's Army will delight in visiting the Dad's Army Museum, full of memorabilia dedicated to the BBC comedy series. Jump in the car and take the short journey to the large town of Attleborough, where you'll find a wealth of local amenities to assist with your self-catering needs, including two supermarkets and a handful of delicious takeaways serving cuisines from all over the world. Travel towards the bustling market town of Thetford which offers a large selection of traditional pubs and restaurants for that fine dining experience, as well as a number of shops and supermarkets for picking up any last-minute essentials. Thetford Forest is within easy reach, a huge popular tourist attraction for exploring the rural sites by walking or cycling, and a haven for wildlife enthusiasts with birdlife aplenty; alternatively, for a spot of history visit the medieval Thetford Castle.
